Essential Functions:Strategic Sourcing. Maintain strict adherence to professional standards. Identify procedural issues an d recommend solutions. Ensure timely follow up. Attend trade shows an d advise OTC Merchandising/Sourcing teams of findings. Work with Suppliers/search the internet for new product ideas. Bring new products to the attention of OTC Merchandising/Sourcing.Develop current suppliers. Resolve any supplier issues promptly. Maintain strong professional relationship with current suppliers. Address issues an d resolve in a professional manner. Develop new products with current suppliers to build the relationship. Communicate in a timely manner; answer all emails within one day.Develop new suppliers. Find an d evaluate all new suppliers with merchandisers prior to presentation to OTC Sourcing. Pre-qualify new suppliers via Company Profile, VBA an d review of the company s abilities. Ensure product profitability. Negotiate all aspects of product profitability including price, terms of purchase, payment terms an d MOQ.
