Company History
Pfaudler began in 1884 when Casper Pfaudler, a German brew master in Rochester, NY invented the process for glass-lining steel （known today Pfaudler’s Glasteel？）. Originally invented for the purpose of vacuum fermentation of beer, Glasteel？ become a vital part of many other industries along with our Edlon brand Fluoropolymer technologies due to their corrosion resistance, cleanliness an d non-stick properties. Today, daily plant operations in industries such as Food an d Beverage, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Micro-Electronics, Semi-Conductor, Pulp an d Paper an d Precious metals Recovery are dependent on our technologies, solutions an d services.
In the mid-1900’s, we expanded our capabilities to include process engineering resources, combining our technologies into complete process solutions to meet the ever-growing an d evolving needs of the chemicals industry. We started our Services division an d it has since expanded to be the largest in the industry, providing life cycle support to our clients. In 2105, Pfaudler further expanded its chemical engineering an d distillation process portfolio with the addition of Julius Montz GmbH, an industry leader in the field of distillation technology. With our innovative spirit, we have continued to develop technologies for new applications an d improve existing processes.
