PKF – the controller is responsible to ensure that the PKF figures are accurate, an d is responsible for monitoring an d follow up on the effectiveness of the operations, the quality, environmental issues. The controller is responsible to point out areas where potential costs reductions can be achieved to the management. VPC – the controller is responsible to provide management with an accurate view of the variable production costs in the factory, including ensuring that the consumption of materials is accurate Cost savings – the controller is responsible to provide a detailed follow up for the management on PKF related costs savings, investment related cost savings, as well as all other possible VPC related cost savings Investments – the controller is responsible for making sure that the investments are done according to the RI principles, including helping compile the required information, an d reporting it accordingly. Costing/BOM – the controller is responsible for maintaining an accurate BOM, an d providing assistance to the operations department when dealing with new articlesAd-hoc tasks – ad-hoc tasks should take up 20-30% of the controllers’ time – these should include all ad-hoc projects requested by operations, as well as own initiatives to increase efficiency, Ｏr reduce costs. Standardization an d benchmarking – the controller is responsible for pro-actively benchmarking across OPCOs, an d working closely together with the operations department to achieve best in class performance.
