In 1997, Airlink Shanghai representative office was set up. In the same year, Airlink successfully completed integrated electronic security system successfully for Intel Facility in Pudong, Shanghai.

In 2000, Airlink established its China headquarters: Shanghai Airlink Technologies Co. Ltd. an d obtained the highest class Design an d Installation certificate issued by Shanghai Public Security Bureau. In order to enhance its technical capability, Airlink set up R&D team an d obtained the title of High an d New Technology Enterprise of Shanghai awarded by the Shanghai Municipal Government in the same year. Airlink has successfully accomplished a number of major security system projects for airports, banks, governments an d multi-national corporations.
