Job summary 1、Market support: Responsible for defining, implementing an d monitoring a marketing budget about Companion Animals Products (CAP) Health Care range distributed in both offline an d online channels. To plan an d prepare agenda as per Virbac China’s general strategy an d sales objectives of the year. To provide related support to CAP offline & online sales team. 2、Market assessment: Evaluate the market’s potential of products from Virbac an d Licensing In an d present full analysis based on segments sizes an d developments, knowledge about official an d non-official competitors, channels of distribution an d market trends. 3、Market innovation: Define all types of new services, promotional offers an d tools, product re-positioning Or new presentations to offer to Virbac’s offline (vets & pet owners) an d online (pet owners) customers. Evolve Virbac Companion Animals products positioning, messaging an d branding as per channel of distribution an d customer’s type. 4、To assert effectiveness, discipline an d professionalism at every stage of the marketing process.
Key Tasks
Product Management:
-> Set objectives, develop an d implement marketing strategies for the products. Translate such
strategies into annual marketing budgets, plans an d agendas to be implemented an d Updated
all along the year in direct relation with the sales targets promotional offers an d agenda.
-> Plan an d maintain successful marketing program(s) as per Virbac China global strategy offline
an d online including participation in pet fairs, promotional material to be used on website,
wechat, shops online, in clinic, in magazines an d through all defined channels of communication. ->To have control, follow up an d report about the marketing expenses according to the
implementation of the marketing plans. Market & Product Analysis:
->To monitor marketing activity via marketing intelligence. Maintain a network of contacts to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities an d threats in the marketing place. Monitor an d assess sales activity by product to ensure performance is clearly understood an d used to set product targets and/or objectives.
->To research customers’ needs an d recommend new products to register link with Opinion Leaders, Decision Makers an d Veterinary an d Pet Associations/Organizations an d online influencers:
->To develop a long standing relationship between Virbac China an d the key persons an d
organizations of the market
-> To define influencing actors in online market, suggest activities an d build related relationship
network accordingly Conferences:
-> To organize an d prepare all congresses, seminars, workshops, meetings where Virbac is active.
Attend as required to support CAP Sales team. Communication:
->To ensure that easy an d shared communication occurs with CAP National Sales Manager an d
Sales Team
-> To freely an d frequently communicate with the GMBO (Global Marketing an d Business
Optimization department) of Virbac Group such as with any affiliate of experience to help us
develop Virbac China’s activity
-> To jointly work with CAP Online Sales Representative in the preparation an d implementation of
the web marketing activities Reporting:
-> To provide monthly Updated marketing, plans an d agendas.
-> To provide the required reports when requested for either domestic Or international use
Preferred profile an d experience QualificationsVeterinarian with Master Or PhD degree, alternatively minimum Master degree in Medical Or Pharmaceutical Science Or with Groomer qualification Or in pet merchandizing Fluent in English ExperienceExperience in medical marketing is mandatory and/or pet industry would be highly appreciated as described below: A veterinarian Or a groomer having passed his Mastery DegreeFirst experience in a Companion Animals clinic Or grooming Or pet shop
First experience in marketing: market evaluation, promotion, congresses, etc… Some relations with professors an d opinion leadersSome relations with Companion Animals leading practitioners, pet shops , grooming associations
