The Challenge
Onduline has developed a solid position in the roofing industry in China since its entry to the market in 2008.
Onduline is now willing to develop a new business position in the energy generating roofs , with a strong focus to pitched roof solutions .
The business development manager will have to develop Onduline Energy roof range of solutions, including a proprietary range of products under development but not only, to define with China Country manager marketing strategy an d to commercialize our energy roof through Onduline existing network an d new ones if needed.
Business development managers will lead commercialization of our energy roof systems in commercial, institutional an d residential segments, with first sales to be achieved by end of 2019 with ambition to get 1/3 of business from this activity by 2021. The incumbent will be the lead person to drive milestone set by China business leader, with ultimate goal of achieving the sales target of 2019-2021, thanks to leveraging presence an d network of our specification an d technical sales team.
Following personal attitude will be critical to deliver successfully: · Leverage resource an d collaboration with speed to ensure project realization.· Have influencing power to convince inside an d outside customers· Motivate sales team to develop new business. · Build relation with big clients, governments an d other 3rd-party stakeholders
The job description
· Conceives business strategies an d implements it once agreed with China Country managers an d Asia regional director· Organizes market intelligence to identify best business opportunities. Identifies an d prospect suppliers of potentially interesting technologies/solutions for Onduline· Leads first commercialization of developed solutions including: Identifies an d prospects for new clients Responds to prospective client inquiries quickly an d completely, providing appropriate follow up when needed. Delivers presentations to new an d existing clients on solar tile product & system · Cooperate closely with Sales, Marketing an d Technical team to create practical business plans an d hit financial goals · Work with global an d local marketing team to keep alignment an d execution · Communication with HQ an d Asia team to align on business directions an d Updates
The Qualification· University degree Or above, major in Civil Engineering· More than 8 years’ experience in construction Or building material field. Experience in solar industry is a plus· 5 years of business development/marketing/product management experience · Good mix of strategic thinker an d a doer , roll up sleeves to get things done · Team work spirit· Project management experience required · Fluent English in both written an d oral / If foreigner should be fluent in Chinese
