Key Responsibilities:

Retailer performance

Directly responsible for the assigned Retailer stores’ performance. As the Retail store manager, be responsible to deliver the store sales, service an d brand experience result.

Brand image

Responsible to manage the strong branded environment that helps Microsoft devices an d services differentiate an d stand out from the competition executed in managed retail stores.

Analysis & Insight

Provide store level insights an d sales performance reporting influence marketing programs, strategies an d executions

Retailer Planning

Landscape - deep understanding of Retailer business – use insights gained to create strategy an d translate to a quality plan

Focus - identify key focus areas for execution

Relationship Management

Build relationships with store field staffs an d customers, build MSFT fans at retail

Cross team collaboration with both Microsoft an d Partner’s stores in the development of the necessary program offerings that will lead to long-term relationships with customers an d Partner’s Retail store managers

Experience sharing with internal an d external partners for learning an d experience building

Develop the competency of the individual team member for retail store performance

Implement co-marketing & programs to drive joint success

Think of relationship management as living process versus ‘a moment in time’ – aspires to ‘Trusted Advisor’ status

Map an d understand the power base of host store manager that will make/influence decisions with Microsoft

Anticipate competition an d have an active plan

Foresight

Actively mine for future opportunities, assess risks, dissect an d learn from key wins/losses

Share Retailer an d store level insights for Microsoft outcomes

Demonstrate responsiveness an d creativity with the partner to shape the market, not just ride the market

Business Operational Excellence

AcCountable for executing Retailer plan to committed metrics - forecast accuracy, revenue attainment, scorecard, share & retail store experience

Execute consistent Rhythm of the Business including Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews with Host Store Managers

Follow-through on commitments

Evangelize an d ready Partner sellers for co-engagement through sales readiness, coaching an d management

Manage & Monitor:

Analyze Retailer performance

Monitor Retailer scorecard

Analyze data to drive new value to Retailer

Experiences Required: key experiences, skills an d knowledge:

3 years Retail store management experience

3 years of high traffic/high volume retail experience

1 years of people management experience

Experience selling consumer electronics Or Technology Solutions

Previous technology/product/software teaching Or training experience is a plus

Experience managing in a customer service environment

Love for Microsoft

Deep understanding of Microsoft products

Strong organizational & operational skills

Sales Strategy

Ability to build strong customer relationships

Ability to develop an d motivate an retail store team

Lead by example, take pride in your work, an d enjoy helping an d developing others while creating fun environments an d energizing people through your passion while maintaining composure an d customer focus while troubleshooting an d solving issues.

Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in both English an d Mandarin
