PACKAGEKEY RESULT AREAOverview of RoleThe Digital an d Publications Assistant will be responsible for the creativity an d design of all publications internally an d externally, an d producing contemporary an d premium collateral.
The role of Digital an d Publications Assistant includes creating, designing, editing publications materials an d co-ordinating with external agencies to produce premium an d contemporary designs for our school.
KEY TASKS an d RESPONSIBILITIES:* Creating, Editing an d compiling a series of publications highlighting the work of the school (e.g. Activities Week, CAS projects, Primary Visits, PTA Events etc.)* Preparing school collateral, curriculum guides, marketing collateral, posters, for print* Managing an d updating content for school website* Knowledge of html an d SEO desirable* Updating graphics an d visual imagery in all communications* Liaising with external agencies e.g. printers an d other brand agencies* Experience in Photography/Advertising/Poster design* Basic knowledge of offset printing an d digital printing* Designing an d implementing visual displays around the school* Research, sourcing materials an d products from suppliers* Co-ordinate an d liaison with various internal departments to ensure purchase order accurate an d complete* Ensure all collateral is within brand guidelines of Nord Anglia Education* Experience in film production e.g. editing footage/software an d audio preferred but not essential* Undertaking ad hoc activities as requested by management
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE* Deliver publications requests within a timely manner (2 weeks turnaround where possible)* Respond an d ensure timely communication to staff* Communicate with manager if unclear on task Or unable to deliver within timeframe* Show initiative in follow up on asking for new work* Provide examples of work* Positive feedback from purchasing an d publications officer of timely turnaround* Evidence of effective communication on any issues/concerns an d provide assistance asap to rectify any problems* Positive Feedback from Publications Officers, Purchasing department an d Director of Admissions an d Marketing

Qualifications/Training* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing Or a related field; EssentialExperience / Knowledge* 2 years’ work experience in Graphic Design, public relations, marketing, communication Or other relevant sectors Essential* Excellent graphic design skills; Excellent software skills with proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Video editing Essential* Fluency in Chinese an d English with excellent writing an d presentation skills; Essential* Proficiency in Adobe Design an d MS-Office tools ; Essential* Basic knowledge of offset printing an d digital printing Essential* Experience in Photography/Advertising/Poster design* Knowledge of CMS systems an d functionality Essential
