Manages sales directly to end-users of the organization’s product Or services in a specified geographic area Or is responsible for a specific industry Or product segment. Manages a team of individual contributors or, at senior levels, managers an d directors. May be responsible for a channel Or market segment. - Establish sales through management of specific industry Or product segment sales teams. - Attains team revenue an d margin targets. - Ensures brand values are maintained. - Provides direction, development an d inspiration to team members. - Manages the hiring, staffing an d maintaining of a diverse an d effective workforce. - Drive sales strategies an d sales promotion campaigns. - Responsible for career development/planning, performance an d pay discussion of team members. - Customarily an d regularly engaged at client facilities. - Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with acCounts. Responsibilities: - Directly manages field based individual contributors. - Sets focus for outside team an d helps sets. - Focus of vertical, business, channel, and/or segment. - Drives focus with cross-business functions. - Drives business process improvement efforts. - Understands complexities of the environment an d works within Quantum to solve complex business issues. - Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly. Skills: - Implements training an d development plans for organization. - Strong understanding of customer/industry climate. - Knowledgeable in solutions an d technical acumen. Qualifications: - 8 years’ work experience in data storage/backup an d data archiving Or equivalent combination of education an d work experience. - 3 years managerial/leadership experience. - Business travel is required. - Strong ability of regional business development. - Excellent communication skill.
