Organizes, evaluates, an d sets priorities for all aspects of services for the unit an d identifies areas for improved service. （6） Oral an d written instruction an d direction must be organized, clearly communicated, an d presented in a positive manner. （7） Excellent customer service skills including the ability to engage, interact an d communicate with patience, clarity, tact, an d courtesy are essential. Regular evening an d weekend hours required. The applicant should have: 1. Education background Master s degree in Library an d Information Science Ｏr equivalent education an d experience relevant to the position, advanced degrees in relevant fields will be given preference in consideration. 2. Working experience （1） 3 year professional experience working in Media Services Ｏr User Services related department in an academic Ｏr research library. （2） Experience providing assistance to library media services for users. 3. Skills an d Qualifications： （1） General understanding of the mission an d functions of a research library an d the information needs of academic users. （2） Ability to meet Ｏr exceed customer service needs an d expectations an d provide excellent service in a direct Ｏr indirect manner. （3） Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a team environment. （4） Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a rapidly changing environment. （5） Excellent interpersonal an d communication skills. （6） Demonstrated commitment to diversity in the workplace Ｏr community. （7）Ability to identify issues an d problem with analysis an d solutions proposals quickly.
