DUTIES an d RESPONSIBILITIES:Includes the following: （Other duties may be assigned）Implement supplier quality strategy while supporting NPD, strategic sourcing & supplier development projects （balanced goals- schedule, cost （TVO/TCOPQ）, quality） Ensure alignment between supplier capability an d design requirements Verify effectiveness of supplier related corrective actions Ensure timely approval of new Ｏr revised purchased componentsEnsure a structure is in place to support NPD & Strategic sourcing projects along with Supplier Performance Management / TFR escalation. Ensure alignment （across sites, global sourcing, global quality, GPS） Manage team budget an d meet annual objectives Manage direct reports, ensure alignment of skills vs needs, progress organizational development an d ensure compliance to performance management process. Ensure conformance to Nilfisk supplier quality requirements / standards on NPD, strategic sourcing & supplier development projects Execute Part approval plan on NPD Ｏr strategic sourcing projects. Ensure alignment （across sites, global sourcing, NPD SQ Managers） Lead supplier development projects Lead supplier approval audits Ensure supplier CA-PA responses are aligned with the Nilfisk SCAR/TFR process an d response time goals Support development & maintenance of Nilfisk supplier quality requirements / standards Supplier requirements manual Part approval process （PPAP） Supplier approval process Supplier process audit （PCPA）Supplier development process （NSDP） Tasks:Make sure that EMEA GSQE team:Conduct part approval process （PPAP） for NPD an d CMF projects Drive supplier improvement an d development activities （PCPA, NSDP）Work closely with suppliers on SCARs, take ownership of supplier related TFRs （according to responsibility） find effective solutions for problems Support category management for new supplier approval （QS assessment） Train suppliers as required on Quality tools/processes GSQEs are liaison between supplier an d Nilfisk departments Evaluate supplier s capability with Manufacturing an d Feasibility checklist As Manager: Empower the organization Manage the team, improve skillsBe excellent model of Nilfisk Behaviors Take part actively of GSQE team strategy development an d executionAlign with other key stakeholders an d regional GSQ managersDrive supplier improvement programs （TOP worst suppliers）Develop SQ strategy based on Nilfisk Next strategy REPORTS TO:Global Supplier Quality Director （Hungarian） SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Yes EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE5 years in automotive quality positionFamiliar with quality tools such as : APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, 8D, 5Why, IshikawaUse of Microsoft softwares （Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc）Familiar with Engineering metal parts （eg: Machining, Castings, Sheet metal fabrication）Experienced in people managementFluent in EnglishWilling to travel 30 % of time ISO9001 and/or TS16949 Internal Auditor Ｏr Lead Assessor （14001 auditor certificate is advantage） LANGUAGE SKILLSHigh level English language fluency with both verbal an d written communication. Minimum: CET4Must have solid reading, writing an d comprehension in order to understand instructions, short correspondence, an d memos.Strong public speaking skills are needed to effectively present information to customers, clients, an d employees Active listening REASONING ABILITYMust have the ability to identify problems, collect data, confirm facts, an d execute solutions for corresponding problems.High understanding of a variety of technical instructions in mathematics an d diagrams
